ARMOR: DO I PUT IT ON OR TAKE IT OFF?!

ARMOR: DO I PUT IT ON OR TAKE IT OFF?!

The Armor of God 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which...

FEAR BASED LIVING vs. PEACE BASED LIVING

FEAR BASED LIVING vs. PEACE BASED LIVING

If I asked you if you make most of your daily decisions out of fear, you would probably say no, right? I would probably say the same thing. I mean, I have dealt with fear and anxiety throughout the years, but I wouldn’t say most of my decisions are based in fear. Because the answer was, well yah, not all the time, but kind of a lot of the time! The reason I got on the train of thinking on fear based living...

What’s Wrong With Being Confident

What’s Wrong With Being Confident

I like to take walks as often as possible along our neighborhood running path.  I’ve always been pretty good about exercising, but I hate to run! I think it has something to do with having to stop and hurl while trying to run long distance in middle school! Anyway, I’m one of those people take up the whole sidewalk walking my dog and jamming with earphones in. I try to schootch over for you stud-ly runners! So, I was on my walk the other day, with my vicious, and tiny little dog, Shadow – well, actually, she is an 8-pound beige and white cute-face Maltzu (Shitzu/Maltese mix). At home Shadow is a major lap dog. She loves every person who walks through the door and will make you let her sit in your lap, and you better pet her or you are going to get the paw! As always, while we were walking down the path, shadow runs to “attack” every single dog behind the fences. Seriously, there...
